What is BLADE?

Our premium BLADE home draught machine allows you to experience quality pints from the comfort of your own home. Be it an office, a kitchen, home bar or event space, its sleek design blends seamlessly into any setting. The low murmur of the machine (similar to that of a fridge), means it goes practically unnoticed. And, the innovative, space-saving footprint is a game changer because you can tap anywhere with a power supply.

Ideal for any occasion, enjoy pub-quality pints at home when watching football, enjoying the Formula 1® race or simply kicking back after a hard day's work.

What is draught beer?

Draught beer is beer served from a keg rather than a bottle or can, offering a fresh and crisp taste. It's poured through a tap system, ensuring each glass is perfectly carbonated and chilled to the ideal drinking temperature. Enjoy the ultimate pub experience at home with draught beer.

How to use the BLADE beer machine?

Using the BLADE beer machine is simple. First, place the machine on a flat surface and plug it in. Insert a chilled BLADE beer keg, close the lid, and wait for the machine to reach the optimal temperature. Pull the handle to pour fresh draught beer into your glass. Enjoy perfectly tapped beer every time!

To insert a keg into the BLADE machine, follow these steps:

  • Open the lid of the BLADE machine.
  • Place the chilled keg inside.
  • Ensure the keg is properly aligned with the machine's connectors.
  • Close the lid securely.
  • Wait for the machine to cool the keg to the optimal temperature.

Your BLADE machine is now ready to pour fresh draught beer. Enjoy!

How do we calculate the price per pint of our 8L BLADE beer kegs?

Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of how we calculate the price per pint of our 8L BLADE kegs:

Total volume

Each BLADE keg contains 8 litres of beer. To convert this to pints, we use the standard conversion factor:

1 litre = 1.75975 pints

So, to calculate how many pints are in an 8 litre BLADE keg, we simply multiply this number by 8:

8 x 1.75975 = 14.078 pints

Cost of the keg

The price of the keg is listed on our website. For example, an 8L keg of Heineken 0.0 costs £25.99, so then it’s just a case of dividing the total cost of the keg by the number of pints it contains.

Price per pint calculation

Using the example above: £25.99 ÷ 14.078 pints = £1.84 per pint

And that’s it! If you have any questions, our customer service team is always here to help.

Now, let’s have a beer.
